Oh music section of WHSmiths and Music Zone how I miss you. The iTunes library is just not the same, and you can't get the same little pin badges for 50p from the super Apple info-highway.
So during my weekly peruse of the magazine section in Smiths, during which I usually express outrage at who is on the cover of Q, and resolve that next time I WILL buy something other than NME and ELLE, I came across a magazine called
notion that has one of those matt cardboard covers and a THEME, and pastel colours, and say's it's about music, fashion and culture. Oh the decadance of a magazine with a theme. So i forked out my £3.65 on issue no. 42 (this was a couple of months ago) the POP ART issue. It's one of those magazines that I want to cut up and stick all over my Graphics folder for school (another story there) but I just cant bring myself to do it.
So anyway, the editorial was shot by Mark Cant, and I'll pretend I know who he is for the benefit of this post. And well, um, I like the pictures because they are pretty. Yes, i'm that superficial. Oh well, I'n the words of the great musician, lyricist and frontman of britpop legends Pulp, Jarvis Cocker;
I never said I was deep.
There were other shots as well and they were equally as, um, lovley, but well, im lazy and impatient and my scanner's in an awkward cupboard in the kitchen.
